Business details, logo and social links
The details that appear across your whole website.
Open Settings in the left-hand menu. Changes save when you click out of a box.
Business details
- Business name: shown in your header and footer, and in search results.
- Strapline: a few words under your name, such as Dog walking & pet care.
- Area you cover: shown in your footer and on your Contact page.
- Email address and Phone number: shown on your Contact page and in your footer as tap-to-email and tap-to-call links.
- Description: one or two sentences about your business. Search engines and social media use this when your website is shared.
Logo and site icon
- Logo: replaces your business name in the header and footer. A wide image with a transparent background (a PNG) looks best. Without a logo, your business name is shown in a nicely styled font.
- Site icon: the little square picture in browser tabs and on phone home screens. Use a simple square image of at least 256 × 256 pixels, such as your logo mark.
Social links
Paste the full web address of each page, starting with https://. Icons appear in your footer. Leave a box empty to hide that icon.
Website
- Project name: only you see this.
- Domain: the web address your website will use. See Connecting your domain.
